Dr. Molly Jackson is an accomplished Associate Professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-BC) and as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). Dr. Jackson is recognized nationally for her expertise in curricular design, evaluation, and nursing education leadership.
She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, followed by both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from Case Western Reserve University. Her post-doctoral training includes the Samuel H. and Maria Miller Foundation Post-Doctoral System Chief Nurse Executive Fellowship (completed 2022) and selection as a 2023 Coldiron Senior Nurse Executive Fellow through the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy. She is also a Leadership for Academic Nursing Program Fellow of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
Dr. Jackson is an active member of professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, International Consortium for Outcomes of Nursing, International Society for Professional Identity in Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International. She serves as a faculty evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and has presented educational leadership seminars nationally.
Her research and publications focus on professional identity in nursing, transition to practice, nursing professional development, program evaluation, competency-based education, and curriculum development. Through her scholarship, mentorship, and leadership roles—including prior experience as director of the Master of Nursing Program—Dr. Jackson advances innovative nursing education, equitable workforce preparation, and high-quality patient outcomes.
