Dr. Philip Davis boasts over 40 years of experience in global entrepreneurship, business development, and healthcare. He currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University, where he is part of the Adult Gerontology Primary Care faculty. His research primarily focuses on the care of older adults in emergency settings, with several published articles in peer-reviewed journals on the topic. Additionally, Dr. Davis practices as an associate provider at the Emory University Hospital Emergency Department.

Dr. Davis began his career in telecommunications, holding senior management positions in BellSouth International’s finance and information systems divisions. He later founded The Latitude Group, a global telecommunications consulting firm, which he successfully sold to Intasys Corporation, an international telecommunications software company. Under his leadership as president, the company's stock price surged over 3,000%, as he built a strong international reputation for the organization. He also served as the United States delegate to the GSM global cellular standards committee, which developed the seamless use of cellphones worldwide. As an in demand speaker, he has presented at telecommunications and healthcare conferences across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Dr. Davis holds a BS in Business Information Systems from the University of South Alabama, an MBA in strategic marketing from Georgia State University, a BSN and MSN from Emory University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University.
